The first frame dryer is built by emmezeta
From an entirely new idea the first MACH model takes shape, a futuristic horizontal-frame dryer for the upgrading of dry and finished leathers. It is initially equipped with 30 frames that run on rails with no need to overturn.
Its unmistakable silhouette recalls the shapes of an airplane, hence the name.
The CTU model is upgraded as the external work stations are added with the first robotized frame movements in order to increase productivity and maximize safety.
emmezeta meets the needs of an increasingly demanding market by launching the “ONE” model; a machinery conceived with the aim of drying and conditioning wet leathers at low temperature for the sake of a more natural and governed treatment of the leathers.
With a far-sighted and ambitious decision emmezeta brings together the best of the two existing product lines and taking advantage of the significant investments made so far to support its development, it launches MACH ZEPHYRUS, a new low temperature drying & conditioning machine destined to high quality damp leathers.
emmezeta’s first rotary toggle dryer comes to light; the machine is then marketed under the name ROT.
The first wet toggle dryer is built on an industrial scale; it is the CTU model, name that stands for Conditioning Toggling Unit.
The MACH undergoes a crucial evolution and it is stretched out so as to accommodate 50 frames thus increasing its effectiveness;
a few years later the first MACH version with 60 frames would be built, even more efficient.
Notwithstanding the MACH60, as a production machine, will be regularly marketed side by side with the MACH50, only starting from 2009.
Another historical chapter is written that fits in the wake of passion for innovation that has always characterized the brand emmezeta: the MACH SENSATION is born, namely the conditioning of theleathers through an internal addition of saturated steam that is purposely generated by a stand-alone unit.
